Resurrection is an American fantasy drama television series that revolves around dead people who come back to life. Based on the book The Return by Jason Mott, Resurrection premieres in Malaysia on May 12th, 2014 and is voted the #1 New Scripted Series in the United States.
Starring Omar Epps from House and Kurtwood Smith from That ’70s Show, the series follow an 8-year-old boy named Jacob who wakes up all alone in a rice paddy field in rural China with no identification and with no clue as to how he got there. A chain of events soon follow and Jacob is brought back to his home in Arcadia, Missouri by a police officer. The mystery deepens because the town and its people are forever changed as Jacob died 32 years ago.
Jacob is but the first to come back to life in Resurrection. A heart wrenching and dramatic series, Resurrection premieres Monday, May 12th at 10.00pm on Astro Lifetime, Channel 709.
