Describe your personal style: I’d probably describe my personal sense of style as #ratchet. And that’s that. LOL just kidding. It’s a little hard to explain what my sense of style is because I tend to be quite bipolar with what I wear. Sometimes I go for the “dirty h*e bag” look, other days I’m more refined. But I guess if I had to make a list that would make someone go “gosh, that’s so Ezra!”, it would probably include;
- high waisted midi skirts, or shorts, or jeans, just bottoms basically.
- dark lipstick
- and some really cute friends to take pictures with LOL (okay that made me sound shallow, but I personally feel like having the right friends around always makes you feel good, and feeling good is KEY to how you carry your outfit. It’s all about the right amount of confidence. Also, it’s really awkward taking photo solo).
I’m also obsessed with the material of the things I buy. I look very carefully at my skirts to check if it’s got an extra lining, I check if my accessories look like the plating will be easily worn out by sweat, I mean come on, it’s Malaysia we’re talking about. I basically touch and feel everything I want to buy before I buy it. You always gotta feel it out and think about whether it would still look good off the display rack, and in the washing machine after a few times of wearing it – will it still look just as good or close enough?
Look 3: Ribbed Bodycon Dress, Wide Brimmed Hat, Biker Ankle Booties and Tote Bag – All from H&M, Silver Cross Necklace – Diva
What do you think about the fashion scene in KL: The fashion scene in KL is definitely advancing. You see kids adopting street styles from abroad, with the layering to the bold prints and colours to the way they accessorise and all that jazz. It’s very refreshing when you bump into someone, and you know instantly that you’re both on the same style wavelength. You don’t really get that very often unless you’re at an event with a specific demographic of humans. Kids can be cruel and sometimes that cruelty forces other kids to shy away from that extremely boss looking neon shirt or some crazy black lipstick just a little bit more often (you catch my drift right? :P). I dare say that our scene has pretty much hit the mark already. You just don’t see a lot of people like that around because they’re still a minority.
