Eau D’arômes is the new men’s fragrance by Giorgio Armani. After Eau Pour Homme and Eau De Nuit, Giorgio Armani introduces his casual and relaxed side with Eau D’arômes.
A perfect olfactory interpretation of the iconic Armani jacket – de-constructed, fluid, timeless and incredibly chic – Eau Pour Homme is a symbol of masculine elegance. Strong, rich and luminous, this first fragrance created by Giorgio Armani imposes its spontaneous freshness paired with deep, warm virility.
Eau De Nuit is the elegant essence of the dinner jacket: a midnight blue-black tuxedo, a colour dear to Giorgio Armani. In this fragrance, the exuberance of a fresh cascade of water blends with the bewitching sensuality of amber and iris. Eau De Nuit opens a new chapter dedicated to the glamour of the night.
Today, Eau D’arômes reveals a new facet of Giorgio Armani Fragrances – a casual and relaxed style inspired by the same iconic fluid jacket but this time, in a lighter fabric. The new fragrance evokes a moment away from it all, devoted to simple pleasures, as the warmth of spices intertwines with the freshness of a light Mediterranean breeze.
The perfumer’s art is to make something very complex appear simple and effortless. Spicy and spontaneous, Eau D’arômes is a play of contrasts, both simple and textured with hints of freshness and warmth. The masterful combination of the spicy-woody and citrus accords creates a deeply textured ensemble – dynamic, masculine and sensual.
From the first notes, sparks of bergamot and mandarin join the bright snap of ginger to create vibrant freshness. Inciting a sensation of freedom, these sun-drenched tones illuminate sweet, peppery and imperial cardamom accentuated by aromatic sage. A bespoke spiciness pairs with fiery chilli pepper to redefine convention. Finished with precious vetiver, the fragrance drapes the body in a sensual patchouli and singular ambergris accord.
With clean lines and a subtle play between texture and fabric, the bottle continues to draw inspiration from the iconic Armani jacket. With a reflective black bakelite cap and solid, substantial glass set upon ribbed metallic cuffs for absolute finesse and flawless structure. The ochre shade with golden shimmers, reminiscent of a gentleman’s club, distinguishes this new, very masculine chapter to Giorgio Armani’s fragrance opus.
Eau Pour Homme
The original: Giorgio Armani’s first masculine fragrance is unmistakably Italian. Opening with the freshness of bitter orange and tangerine, top notes are enlivened by peppery coriander. A spicy heart of nutmeg and cumin is brightened by a sweet touch of neroli before being wrapped in the warm, woody seduction of cedar and patchouli.
Eau De Nuit
The nocturnal: it evokes the moment of anticipation when dusk turns to night. Like the last rays of sun, fresh bergamot and pink pepper are softened with cardamom. The smooth heart of nutmeg and powdery iris is slowly enveloped by amber and tonka bean for a mysterious seduction.
Eau D’arômes
The relaxed: an effortless and richly textured spicy-woody fragrance for a luxurious evasion. Fresh, citrus top notes of bergamot and mandarin orange are brightened with ginger. At its heart, cardamom, sage and hot chilli pepper collide with the dry crispness of vetiver, over a sensual patchouli and rare ambergris accord.
The fragrance will be available at all Giorgio Armani fragrance counters from 1st April 2014, retailing at RM320 per 100ml bottle.
