On our previous visit to Sephora (read all about it here), we managed to grab a few, shall we say, “memoirs” of our trip. What’s a trip to Sephora without coming home with an item or two, right? And today, we’re going to share the one item that we fell in love with immediately!
Perfume in a pretty bottle is just perfume in a pretty bottle. But we can’t say the same for Gwen Stefani’s new “Harajuku Lovers” fragrances. It’s hard not to look at the “kawaii” tiny dolls (inspired by the youth-oriented street style of the Harajuku district in Tokyo) looking at you endearingly from the shelves. All five dolls, Baby,Love, Lil’Angel, Music, & G, stand atop five different fragrances.
Completely drawn to the cute “must have” packaging, we tried all the scents. Our pick amongst the crowd of dolls was a doll named “G”.
“G” (the scent, not the doll) is a creamy tropical gourmand with a slight hint of coconut and musk. It hits a high citrus top note and isn’t outwardly girly but it spells fun! We also hear that “G” represents Gwen Stefani herself. Why..we aren’t the least bit surprised!
