Describe your personal style: Picking an outfit to wear is something I look forward to everyday! Besides being a form of expression, outfits help me achieve certain level of confidence. The way I walk, sit and behave depends on what I wear, though the differences are subtle. Convenience, comfort and functionality are essential when it comes to me picking out my outfit for the day. I think it’s important to have basics, such as a white tank top, fitted skinny jeans, a black skirt, black flats and of course the infamous LBD. Casual with a twist of feminism is how I would describe my style. I’m petite so finding the right mix can be tricky at times but I make sure I find a way to make it work, be it pairing my sneakers with a dress to rolling up the sleeves of a basic tee to make it seem more fitted. Footwear can make or break an outfit so I make it a point to constantly have that one pair of go to flats or sneakers.

What do you think of the fashion scene in KL: I think the fashion scene in KL has erupted over the years. We see rapid changes in style from both men and women. We do try fitting in with the rest of the world but our society is much more aware of what does and does not work for them. However, even with the ever changing trends, we still find a way to individualise our fashion. We still hold on to to our culture and we wear it proud and we take our time finding the right cut, colour, print and design for a particular trend.

Your favourite place to shop:  My go to stores are Cotton On and H&M as they are always in sync with the trends and it’s easier for me to find clothes in my size at these stores. I also love impulsive buys from bazaars, online blogs and street markets. You can always find priceless pieces from these places.
