After being held captive as a sex slave by her “cyber romeo”, a 25-year-old nurse managed to escape from a house in Subang Jaya after stumbling upon a spare key in the house. The victim was allegedly confined in the house since Saturday.
The “cyber romeo” was reportedly a driver for a private company and is believed to have cheated three other women through Facebook over the past six months.
Sources say that his modus operandi was to lure his victims by making sweet promises. The sources said that the suspect would meet with his victim a few times before bringing her to his house to rape her.
He even took photographs of her in the nude, threatened to the nude photos of her on the Internet if she tried to escape. According to the source, the victim was also unable to contact anyone as the suspect took her mobile phone.
After her escape, the victim tried her best to walk more than 200m to lodge a report at the Subang Jaya police station. The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code.
