There’s no love like Kanye’s love, and he’ll be the one sure to give Kim something memorable (or would never dream of having). After all, it must be tough shopping for a woman who can easily afford everything in the world.
For Christmas, Kanye bought his fiancee and baby-momma Kim Kardashian a Hermes Birkin bag, but not just any Birkin! The bag was painted by contemporary artist, George Condo.
Kim initially posted a photo of the bag on Instagram, tagging:
“#HandPaintedGeorgeCondo #HermesBirkin#OneofOne #ChristmasPresentFromYeezy.”
The expensive brown leather bag features four nude figures painted on one side. The main character of the painting is a striking female beauty, while the rest appear to have disturbing ghoulish faces. We’re guessing Kanye sees Kim as the striking beauty in a world of ugly people?
The custom-made Hermes Birkin is said to retail for approximately US$40,000. However, this isn’t Kanye’s first collaboration with George Condo. In 2010, Kanye commissioned five album covers from George, including the album art for his 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Kim seems quite excited with her new Birkin. In fact, she’s already been spotted carrying it with pride while shopping at a sporting goods store with Kanye.
