A cosplay business owner and SEGi College student has been getting heat from local netizens for being abusive towards her pet dog.
This story first came to our attention after a thread was created on Lowyat.net’s Kopitiam Forum. The thread gave us access to the pet abuser, named Joey Fong Chibi. On her Facebook page, she shared a picture of her dog hiding next to a large pail in her bathroom. In the picture description, the cosplay business owner says that she had whacked her dog until the hanger broke, and that she has to buy a ‘rotan’ to continue punishing her dog.
She claims that her dog has been peeing around and stealing food off the table. In another picture she posted, her dog was seen hiding behind a rack.
A commentor told Joey that her actions are considered as animal abuse. She then responded, “Then I should f*ckin’ abuse you too. Since you are an animal”. (These posts have since been deleted by Joey).
Based on her Facebook post, it appears that Joey intends on getting rid of the dog because it’s being a “burden”.
