On Monday we posted an article about an Indian teenager who hanged herself because her parents banned her from logging into Facebook, and we’ve recently found out about another case of suicide. A 12-year-old Polish schoolgirl, Maria Kislo, chose to end her life and left a note saying that she wants to be with her father in heaven.
Maria’s father passed away five years ago in 2009 after suffering from a sudden heart attack. Only after her suicide was it clear how much her father’s death had affected her. In her bedroom, she left a short note that read, “Dear mum. Please don’t be sad. I just miss daddy so much, I want to see him again.”
The heartbroken schoolgirl’s body was found by her mother. “Five years ago I lost my husband Arek, this year my daughter. I don’t know if I can go on, and I wouldn’t if it was not for my son,” said the devastated 35-year-old mother. “She didn’t seem unhappy. She didn’t have problems at school and she seemed a happy little girl. I had no idea she missed her father so much, she never really spoke about it,” she added.
