The haze condition in northern region especially Kedah and Penang has improved after a huge rain yesterday. The API readings have dropped to normal level since 6am today.
Yesterday, an unhealthy level was registered there, especially in Sungai Petani and Seberang Prai areas.
33 areas in Malaysia have records of a “moderate” API level, while East Malaysian areas are indicating a healthy API level.
During this haze season, residents are advised to avoid outdoor activities as much as possible. (Source)
