Did Katy Perry wear the same Emanuel Ungaro leopard print dress at the MTV VMA 2013 as world-class supermodel Coco Rocha’s at this year’s MET Gala in May?
According to the pictures, they totally did. But in a world where celebrities cannot be seen wearing the same thing as another, the two industry giants wore it differently.
Katy’s gown was hemmed at the knee but she classed up the wild print with a simple thin-strapped heels with gold detail. Coco on the other hand, went full-on Amazonian warrior with a pair of black ankle boots, and donned some very stylish Betty-bangs.
But who wore it better?
Coco, being a supermodel, clearly went for a full-on high fashion look. Her shiny brown locks and smokey eyes brought out her sultry eyes and she clearly knew how to compliment her height by sticking to the length of her dress.
Katy opted for a more cocktail approach. With her hair tied back into a long sleek ponytail and some minimal gold jewelry, it looked appropriate for a semi-formal award show. On the plus side, they somehow had Katy Perry screamed all over it, and we personally think it was the best outfit to compliment her comeback single, Roar.
