A 10-year old boy was stabbed with a knife in the head by his schoolmates in Tawau last week. The incident took place on Friday around 11.30am. The student allegedly got into a fight with a schoolmate who was 13 years old.
In the quarrel, the older student took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the head, causing the poor child to fall down bloodied. [Source]
State Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Omar Mammah said Tawau police remanded the 13-year-old student, adding that the victim was taken to a hospital where he received several stitches.
“It started from a minor argument. The 13-year-old boy grabbed a knife and stabbed his younger schoolmate in the school compound.” [Source]
The younger student received numerous stitches in the head due to the accident.
