Lea Michele, girlfriend and co-star of the late Cory Monteith issued a statement via her reps after the coroner announced the post-mortem results of her boyfriend.
“Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them”.
“They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.”
Cory was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver over the weekend from a mixture of heroine and alcohol. Coroner Barbara McLintock said that the death of Cory Monteith is “the most sad and tragic accident”.
Lea was in Mexico with her friends when the news of her boyfriend’s death reached her. [Source]
