Malaysians are in fear of another murder mystery. The body of a young woman was found in a durian orchid near the White Resort National Service Training Camp at Bukit Genting on Monday. It is believed that she was a murder victim.
The victim, still unidentified, is believed to be in her 20s and with fair skin. Slash wounds were found on her neck, head and body.
Penang Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Mazlan Kesah said that she was believed to have been killed elsewhere, and her body was dumped at the orchard before it was found by a passerby at 8.30am. (Source)
According to sources, police has yet to determine her identity has no documents were found on her body and had no BCG vaccination mark on her arm.
According to the Penang Hospital senior consultant forensic pathologist Datuk Dr Bhupinder Singh, the woman, who was 153cm tall, had died of air embolism. He said a post-mortem found multiple tab and slash wounds in her neck and on the back of the head, adding that there was no suspicion of sexual assault. (Source)
Kesah urges anyone with information on the woman, or anyone with a missing female relative to contact the police as soon as possible.
