Nearly a year since his divorce from singer Katy Perry which only lasted roughly 14 months, Russell Brand speaks to Esquire about his failed marriage.
“I’ve probably harmed other people, by being selfish. And really, I’d like to be married. I’m just not transmitting that frequency of ‘Soulmate! Soulmate!’ I’m transmitting the frequency of ‘Mmm!'” quotes the British star.
So, his failed marriage to Perry taught him he is not cut out to be a husband… but what else went wrong? He explains how they both have “a lot of options” and that that made things hard as it meant “you’ve got to really, really want it.”
He also adds that part of being married is making the other person as important as you which they clearly found difficult due to the fame and industries they are both in.
Making it seem a shame he says he did try and and that he did love it too, we guess some stars are just not cut out for love in the limelight! (Source)
