It was a touching and beautiful ceremony when a hearing impaired and mute couple tied the knot using sign language in Tampin over the weekend.
Mohd Saiful Izzuan Ahmad, 26, wedded Hamzuriatul Akmarina Hamdan, 24, through the help of her sister, Hamzuriatul, who acted as an interpreted in the ceremony.
The couple met six years ago when they were school at SM Vokasional Shah Alam, Selangor. They then furthered their studies at Selayang Community College in catering and hotel management courses, before undergoing practical training at a restaurant owned by Saiful’s father.
The bride Akmarina, said, “Our relationship gets closer from time to time that he expressed his intention in marrying in me in 2011″.
I am thankful to God for blessing this marriage and it gets approval from parents from both sides,” she said while being interviewed with the help of her sister as the interpreter. (Source)
