Mr.Balls is a friendly mascot whom reminds Brazilian men to keep their packages in check for testicular cancer. The hilariously graphic mascot was thought up by The AAPEC, a nonprofit cancer association based in Brazil.
The controversiality of the concept has obviously made the brand ambassador that much more known which in my opinion makes it very smart. Also, raising awareness of such a serious issue in a light-hearted humourous way might be just what we need to get it noticed. Honestly who really wants to think and speak about testicular cancer typically? Not us!
However, if we saw this “friendly snowman in the shape of testicles” (as described by The AAPEC), we’d would definitely stop to look and ask questions and would proceed to tell people about it.
On the other hand, does there need to be such extravagant detail? Would you enjoy your child skipping down the road with hand-in-hand giant teabag action? Well either way you see it, chances are you will be left speaking about it and any press is good press. So hats off to The AAPEC for possibly the most ballsy mascot about!
