Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Razak Elias believes that the brutal murder of 18-year-old Parhwine Lucia Mejia Kaur was due to a love triangle.
He said that Parhwine’s boyfriend was detained a few hours after her body was found at 6.50pm. Her motorcycle was found 50m away. It was learned that Parhwine was murdered after quarrel with her boyfriend over his indiscretions with another woman.
Sources claimed that he cheated on her with another girl and that he was the last person seen with Parhwine before she died.
As for the Facebook status, ACP Abdul Razak believes that may also be a ‘sick joke posted by a hacker’. The authorities will be working with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to source out more information.
