Luke Geissbuhler and his 7-years old son has been experimenting with low-altitude test runs and 8 months later, the father and son decided to set their iPhone off for a 100,000-foot journey into space for about 70minutes before the balloon would burst, sending it back to earth and a GPS device for them to track their phone. Not recommended if you have motion sickness, the camera wobbles rather harshly from the wind. Maybe camcorder manufacturers could use this idea to improve their optical image stabilizer, such videos would be so much pleasant to watch.
