Despite how people always said that red lipstick always make people look more mature and older, but a recent study shows otherwise instead.

According to our source, a dash of red lipstick increases the facial contrast which is a major psychological cue for youth. An assistant professor of psychology at Gettysburg College as well the employees of the Centre for Epidermal and Sensory Research and Investigation conducted the research via 3 different methods for putting their hypotheses to the test.

The researchers asked volunteers to guess the age of the Caucasian females between 20 and 70 years old based on the facial contrast  and the New York Daily reported that the aspects of facial contrast between facial features makes the Caucasian women look younger. The researchers also noted that the facial contrast plays a role in determining attractiveness as well as femininity and masculinity. However, the researchers suggested people can regain a semblance of youth through cosmetics makeup too.

Although the study seems to state out the truth, but we still think red lipstick is the best way to glam up our look instead of looking youthful!
