An unfortunate incident took place on the Penang Bridge, when a 20-year-old student died after his super bike crashed by the side of the bridge and was subsequently run over by a lorry.
Henriy Peter from Bukit Dumbar was riding his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle from Prai towards the island, when he accidentally swiped a Jabatan Laut jeep parked by the road shoulder. He lost control of the bike and fell on the left most lane.
Just seconds later, he was run over by a lorry from the back, nearly splitting his body into two. It was a gory sight for many as his body parts were scattered throughout the scene, causing a major traffic snarl.
