A pair of Austrian sisters were attacked by knife bandits in a park in Rawang recently.

The older sister, 51, had her left and right arms slashed with deep visible wounds to the bone. The younger one, 50, had her right arm and fingers cut. They both lost their passports and belongings.

It is believed the knife bandits were familiar with the geographical environment of the park, and escaped easily. After the bandits fled, the sisters went down the mountain of the park on foot for about 30 minutes, when they encountered cleaners and were rescued.

Insiders say that the sisters had their hands pressed against their wounds.
