Estee Lauder sponsored the beauty looks for two big fashion labels this fashion week season – one being Anthony Vaccarella and the other, Isabel Marant. Both of these labels were showing off the Autumn/Winter ’13 collections.
Anthony Vaccarello Autumn/Winter ’13 Show
The Estée Lauder brand sponsored the beauty look at the Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2013 show, which took place at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild on Tuesday, February 26th .
This marks the third season that the brand has participated in Paris Fashion Week. For the show, Estée Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux led a team of 12 makeup artists to create the look on models, including Estée Lauder’s Global Spokesmodel Liu Wen – while manicurist Christina Conrad and her team used nail lacquers from the new Pure Color Vivid Shine collection to create the nail look.
“Anthony’s collection is bold, graphic, a strong statement in black and white. I created a monochromatic makeup look with a strong focus on lips, using deep burgundy, and repeated it on lids for moody eyes. This intense pop of color is striking against perfectly matte skin, pale and translucent.” – Tom Pecheux, Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director
Isabel Marant Fall 2013 Show
For the first time ever, Estée Lauder with Tom Pecheux did the beauty looks for the Isabel Marant Fall 2013 Show at Espace Vendome on Friday, March 1st .
Estée Lauder Spokesmodels Liu Wen and Arizona Muse walked the runway for the “reigning queen of French girl cool”, as Marant was named by IntotheGloss.com.
“I wanted to create a makeup look that was both feminist and boyish. The focus is on the brows, which are effortless but controlled – full, with volume, almost masculine. Makeup on the face is very light, very sheer, like a veil, while the lips are simple, natural and nude.” – Tom Pecheux
