In a study made through Forbes, it was found that over 50% of people who use social media – be it, Twitter, Facebook… Instagram – are all having a negative effect to life. The Social media is causing an anxiety disorder that is becoming more and more popular amongst the users. People are starting to use social media in a way that hurts and effects other as well as bruises self-esteem. It really is pretty unhealthy.
2. It’s bad for your blood pressure
The social media is a pond of bad behavior – bragging, bashing, crimes against gramam and many other hurtful things. It sets your mood in a way that is probably not healthy or right – and this can and will effect you physically. If you see yourself getting angry and boiled up at simple Twitter posts – it’s probably time to step back a bit.
3. The balance of online and offline world is merged
Because of the entire phenomenon of the social media and the internet – the real world and online world have come together as one. People are missing out of the important moments in life because they are stuck in their own little world online. When you become addicted to the social media, you tend to forget what is real, and what is not. The balance of reality is no longer there.
4. You will face unnecessary drama
One friend writes one thing, and you start to point fingers. Who knows, it may have been a quote, or a song – but no matter what is put on the internet and on the social networks, it WILL be interpreted into something personal. That’s when drama starts to arise and problems that were never there start to appear.
