Drypers, together with the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) recently announce the opening of the NASOM Kiwanis PJ Autism One Stop Centre in Setia Alam. The One Stop Centre is a dedicated autism evaluation facility that provides screening, assessment and the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders in children.

Through a total of RM212,475 in funds raised by NASOM and Drypers, the relocation of the NASOM One Stop Centre to Setia Alam was made possible. The funds were raised though various joint activities throughout the year, including the Drypers ‘Bounce with Joy’ Family Arts & Crafts Exploration Workshop in November 2011, a walkathon in lieu with World Autism Day in April 2012, and a concert featuring the National Autism Society of Malaysia’s children choir in May 2012.

Senior Marketing Manger of SCA Hygiene Malaysia, Evelyn said, “Drypers is grateful to be part of this meaningful collaboration, and salute members of the board, teachers, staff and volunteers of The National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM).We are truly humbled and inspired by their passion and selfless dedication of time and energy, towards the support, encouragement and care of children, families and individuals whose lives are impacted by autism”.

In conjunction with the opening of the NASOM One Stop Centre at Setia Alam, Drypers also unveiled a large wall mural, complete with warm wishes and inspirations messages, showcasing the heartfelt support for all visitors to the centre, from the Drypers Facebook community and general public.
To commemorate the opening of the NASOM One Stop Centre at Setia Alam, NASOM also organized an Open Day from on November 24-25. The day saw a number of autism experts conducting autism awareness talks for parents and care givers a like.
