K-pop fans, rejoice! Malaysia will play host to the 27th Golden Disk Awards next year on 15 and 16 January 2013, taking place at the Sepang International Circuit!
Based on the popularity of K-pop in this region, Malaysia was chosen to let K-pop fans enjoy this prestigious two-day event with performances by over twenty top K-pop artists! The list of artists that are nominated for the 27th Golden Disk Awards include PSY, BigBang, Super Junior, KARA, T-ara, CNBlue, FT Island, Infinite, B.A.P., EXO, BEAST, 4 minute, SISTAR, Secret, Epik High, 2NE1, Shinee, Girl’s Generation and more.
There are two classifications of the award – Album and Song. The categories include Grand Prize in Disk Album, Disk Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Most Popular K-pop Star, and others.
Tickets (2-day access) will tentatively be available from 9 December onwards via ticketpro.com.my. Tickets are priced at RM688 and RM999.
