PETA has branded Lady Gaga and Rihanna as “freaks”? Why is this? Well, they were both spotted wearing animal products lately, and PETA isn’t to happy about that.
According to The Daily Express, Rihanna was recently critized by the animal rights organization after she went around London wearing snake skin boots! A spokesperson from PETA went on to say “Rihanna may not have a clue that the snakes killed for boots are often nailed to the tree’s and skinned alive. Ofcourse, they can’t go on Oprah to cry about it.” (Refering to her Rihanna’s recent emotional spill on Oprah’s Next Chapter)
The PETA spokesperson doesn’t stop there – continuing to say “Wearing reptile skin is creep and calloius, and it makes her look even more out of touch. She and Lady Gaga seem so desperate to be freaks instead of recognized for their talents that you have to wonder if they realize that they are being laughed at.”
Lady Gaga used to be praised by PETA for her anti-fur stance, in fact Lady Gaga said on the “Ellen Degeneres Show” in 2009 “I hate fur and I don’t wear fur”, but things changed it seems… and last month, PETA critized her for being a hypocrite after she was caught wearing a collection of fur coats.
Uh-oh… where is this all going? Do you think it’s right or wrong Rihanna and Lady Gaga to be wearing animal products?
