It is Father’s Day this Sunday and how do you plan on surprising your dad? Perhaps maybe you just can’t wait for this day to come as it has been ages since you sat down with your dad and had a good chat with him.
Ever wondered how time flew by and how things have changed so much over the past few years? Although fathers appear to be extremely fierce, inside they are actually very sensitive people. There is a reason why fathers need to pull back their string a little especially when it comes to dealing with teenagers but at the end of the day, they do not mean harm at all.
Recently lipstiq was invited to the launch of Oreo’s latest campaign, ‘Ucapkan Untuk Ayah.’ Among those who were present at the event were; local comedian, Harith Iskandar, Media Prima Radio Networks CEO, Seelan Paul, Co-founder of Smart Reader@Sdn Bhd, Dr. Richard Ong and Kraft Foods Malaysia Managing Director, Mr. Sunil Sethi.
The sofa-session which was held highlighted the different problems and concerns which fathers had today when it came to raising children these days.
One of the key points which was highlighted was that parents these days felt that they had less time to spend with their children than the time their own parents had with them. They also felt that the only way they could talk to their children today is by becoming their friends. “You would need to eat with them, play barbie dolls with them and do everything they do,” said Mr Sunil.
