Twist, Lick & Dunk , no matter how old we are we would never be able to get rid of this old tradition which has been alive for years.
2012 was certainly a memorable year for everyone from the Oreo family as they celebrated their 100th birthday sometime last week.
The memorable celebration was held in Sarawak together with 15 visually impaired children and 150 children from the Salvation army boys and girls school.
The children and all the other guests feasted on a large variety of Saraawakian delights and later on enjoyed the fun and exciting activities which were held. A huge cake with 100 candles were later blown out to mark the end of the celebration in Sarawak.
But what about us who stay in Peninsula Malaysia? Oreo certainly hasn’t forgotten their family members back here and to show their appreciation to the less fortunate, the Oreomobile, a distinctive mobile truck will be roaming the streets in Peninsula Malaysia. A total of 1 million cookies will be given out through out their trip across the country.
During the event, Pn. Noriah Ahmad, the Director of the Social Welfaare Department expressed her gratitude and was indeed happy touched to see Oreo sharing their joy with the children in Kuching. It was indeed true that Oreo is all about childlike delights and bonding moments.
