We had the chance to catch rising star DJ Phil K Lee for a quick chat over coffee at La Bodega, Pavilion KL.
In 2010, Phil was announced as the winner of Found @ Thirst in 2010, one of the country’s biggest new DJ search program. Regarded by many as a truly talented and motivated performer, with many different DJ sets up his sleeve, Phil has been known to deliver top drawer House, Progressive House, Techno & Progressive Trance journeys, incorporating his own mash up projects and live acapella mixing into his performance.
Since then, he has achieved great heights having played alongside notable names in the EDM scene such as Sander van Doorn, Richard Durand, and of course, the godfather of trance, Paul van Dyk, as well as the great Tiesto.
Phil is slated to play at Future Music Festival Asia 2012 on the 17th of March in Sepang, what is said to be Malaysia’s biggest music festival this year. Let’s hear it now from the talented DJ Phil K Lee himself:
