From Angelina Jolie to Madonna to Sandra Bullock, and now Charlize Theron, the adoption trend continues in Hollywood but for noble reasons as always. Theron who will next be seen in “Snow White and the Huntsman” as the wicked queen seeking eternal youth starring opposite Twilight star Kirsten Stewart, has adopted a healthy baby boy by the name of Jackson according to her statement released on Wednesday, March 14 by her representative.
Not much details about the boy is known but it looks like Charlize who is currently single after her breakup with longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend whom she was with for 9 years, looks utterly happy with the current “boy” of her life. It was also the first time she was single in 17 years, she told Vogue magazine.
“I’ve never been single,” the 36-year-old admitted. “This is the first time in my life. From the time I was nineteen, I’ve been in relationships, literally gone from one to the other within a month.” She added, “It’s been good for me. I’m a creature who’s really found her comfort zone in relationships. It’s been nice to rediscover myself.”
Newborn Jackson is incredibly lucky to have the 36 year old Academy Award winner to dote on him for the rest of his life and we can’t wait to have a glimpse of the little boy! Congrats Charlize!
