Goodbye Look Out Point

Look Out Point has always been one of KL’s best kept secrets. Despite the windy road, lack of signages and street lights, many locals would make their way up come dusk to enjoy the gorgeous panoramic night view of Kuala Lumpur.

Early this year, the Kajang Municipal Council had instructed them to vacate the premises and issued a closure order due to extensive renovation close to the steep slope. Here’s the notice on Look Out Point’s main page:

Look Out Point has been closed for the past two months according to @1Ampang and it doesn’t look like it this fact will change anytime soon. This is sad news for all of us and we hope that someday Look Out Point will reopen to us once again.
