The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 last Saturday was an incredible night filled with a record-breaking 1,000 slimings! Hosted by actress Miranda Cosgrove and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski, it was definitely a night to remember!
The show featured performances by Kid Cudi and chart-topping rapper Jack Harlow; appearances by top stars; Nick’s signature orange blimp, which traveled into the metaverse with celebrity avatars; and exciting surprises revealing fan favourites.

Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States, made a special appearance, speaking on the tenacity of today’s children, particularly children of military members and veterans, and encouraged them to keep developing, learning, and giving back to their communities.
Performances by Kid Cudi & Jack Harlow
Kid Cudi performed a medley of his new song “Stars in the Sky” and smash hit “Pursuit of Happiness”; while Jack Harlow gave a rendition of his chart-topping hit “Industry Baby”, and the new songs “Nail Tech” and “First Class”, off his upcoming album Come Home The Kids Miss You.
1,000 Slimings!
Fans of The KCAs, young and old, know that no Nickelodeon programme is complete without the signature green goo! There were 1,000 outrageous slimings for this year’s KCAs, including of Charlie Puth, Dixie D’Amelio, the cast of Danger Force and Warped!, KCA hosts Miranda Cosgrove and Rob Gronkowski, University of Southern California Marching Band, Chance the Rapper and Westcott Elementary School in Chicago, Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, iconic landmarks across the United States, MrBeast, and more!
Celebrity Appearances
Olivia Rodrigo, Gabrielle Union, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews, Sofia Vergara, Chloe x Halle, Charlie Puth, Chance the Rapper, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Jace Norman, MrBeast, Josh Peck, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Isla Fisher, Peyton List, Xavier Woods, Ralph Macchio, Unspeakable, and Karl Jacob were among the celebrities that made appearances at the KCAs this year.

It wouldn’t be a Nickelodeon award event without guest appearances by Nickelodeon stars. This year, the stars were That Girl Lay Lay, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green (That Girl Lay Lay); Havan Flores, Dana Heath, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Luca Luhan, Michael D. Cohen, and Cooper Barnes (Danger Force); Jerry Trainor, Laci Mosley, Nathan Kress and Jaidyn Triplett (iCarly); Kate Godfrey, Anton Starkman, Ariana Molkara, Christopher Martinez and Milan Carter (Warped! ); and Jules LeBlanc.
