The custom of offering kuih Raya during Eid has been passed down throughout the generations, with housewives cranking out tray upon tray of homemade confections; while stores stock up on a wide variety of sweet sweets for Ramadan shoppers.
This Ramadan, Cadbury is encouraging Malaysians to bake from the heart, spreading sincerity and love with friends and family by personally baking ‘Kuih Raya Dari Hati’ using Cadbury’s easy and delicious recipes to create kuih Raya with a special, personalized touch.
For beginners, baking might appear to be a difficult task, with recipes needing extreme precision, not to mention the different tools and devices required to measure ingredients for the perfect pastry. As a result, inexperienced bakers may be hesitant to try their hand at baking, preferring instead to buy ready-made kuih Raya from the supermarket or online.
Cadbury acknowledges this and has released baking sheets to go along with their kuih Raya recipes in preparation for Ramadan this year. Cadbury Dairy Milk 160g bars will be bundled with baking sheets, including one (1) recipe and baking template from March 1st to May 31st. The baking sheets have appropriate templates printed on them, along with instructions on how to build measurement instruments out of them.
And what is the best part? The measurement tools accurately calculate the quantity of each component required for the recipe! It’s never been easier to bake thanks to the recipe, step-by-step directions, and graphics! This year’s Raya campaign will feature eight recipes, six of which will be accessible on the campaign webpage and in physical sheets with Cadbury Dairy Milk products, while the other two will be available online only.

Even with the correct tools and equipment, baking for the first time could be intimidating for most of us. For this reason, Cadbury Dairy Milk will team up with Celebrity Chef Anis Nabilah for special live stream sessions in April, guiding viewers through the process of creating Cadbury’s Kuih Raya Dari Hati. Chef Anis will provide tips and tactics with presenter Azura Zainal to make creating delectable delicacies as simple a process as possible!
The live streams are completely free, with only a few basic steps required to register as a viewer:
