Adapted from Erlend Loe’s novel Muleum, a young woman’s privileged existence is shattered when her family is killed in an aircraft disaster. In this series, she embarks on a wild and chaotic trip, traveling from her hometown Denmark to the remote corners of the planet, seeking a reason to go on. Marie Reuther plays the lead.

Our Flag Means Death, MAX Original Series (Premiers March 3rd – HBO GO)
This comedy series is loosely based on the adventures of Stede Bonnet, narrating the life of a spoiled aristocrat who abandons his family and money for a life on the high seas. Stede has no idea what he’s doing as a pirate leader, and his crew is well aware of this. In addition to a possible mutiny, he must contend with the most legendary pirate of all time – the possibly mad Blackbeard.

Winning Time, The Rise of The Lakers Dynasty, HBO Original Series (Premieres March 7 at 10am on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411))
The professional and personal life of the famed Los Angeles Lakers team from the 1980s are detailed in this series. They were one of the sports’ most beloved and dominant basketball dynasties, the team that defined an era, both on and off the court, with household names like ‘Magic’ Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Twisted Strings, HBO Asia Original Series (Premieres March 27 at 9pm on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411))
Hou Hsiao-Hsien, a distinguished Taiwanese director, explores the stories of seven people from all walks of life, revealing the unexpected turns and twists of their fates and destinies. The anthology, written and directed by Golden Horse nominee Huang Xi, features an ensemble award-winning cast, including Golden Horse winner Lee Kang-sheng in his first lead role for a series.

Lindy, a bouncer with a bit of a deadly anger management problem, is portrayed by Kate Beckinsale, and she has her own way of dealing with it. When the first guy she’s ever fallen for is murdered, her rage makes her the top suspect. As a result, she goes on a vengeance-fueled spree to identify the murderer.
F9: The Fast Saga (Premieres March 18 on HBO GO)
The Fast and Furious franchise is back for the ninth installment of this blockbuster film. With a young son and Letty returned to him, Dominic Toretto’s family and crew face yet another threat to their peace and safety – none other than Jakob, Dom, and Mia’s estranged brother.

Nicky Shen, a San Francisco native, is determined to protect her family and neighborhood from the Triad after returning from a life-changing adventure. Although her martial arts talents and Shaolin principles serve her well, new events indicate that she may face more problems and strife in the future. Olivia Liang, Shannon Dang, Jon Prasida, Gavin Stenhouse, Eddie Liu, and Singaporean actress Tan Kheng Hua, who appeared in Crazy Rich Asians in 2018, star in this series.
