We don’t want to say, “Another one bites the dust” yet, that much is true.
After just a week of rumours, it has been confirmed that supermodel Heidi Klum and her pop star husband Seal are separating. You’ve probably read our piece on their love story, which we truly admired for the entirety of seven years that they were together.
But today, we hear that their love is dead. Heidi Klum filed for a divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” after a bout of a rough patch. It was said that they went through a time where they were either behaving like they were madly in love or having crazy arguments.
In an official joint statement, the couple said, “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.”
“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.”
“We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”
Well, Heidi and Seal, we wish you both all the best despite going separate ways now. We have no doubt that you both still have the highest respect for each other, and will raise your children well!
