Over the years of its existence, social media has grown to become a notorious platform for online sexual harassment and cyber bullying to prevail and flourish. Unfortunately, the fact that these predators are able to keep their anonymity behind the screen makes it that much easier for them to attack others.
Evidently, frequent social media user and Malaysian superstar Yuna is aware of these unlawful acts as for the past year, the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter has stood up to these perpetrators head on. However, she has recently took to Twitter to urge Instagram to put an ultimate halt to online sexual harassment once and for all.

She tweeted, “Please Instagram, help me and fellow Netizens end online sexual harassment. Is there an e-mail where I can send photos or screencaps of these perpetrators in the act to? I’ve taken all the steps your help centre has offered thus far, but these predators just keep coming back!”
