Kylie Jenner Reveals Her Firstborn's Name & Thank God It's Not "Butterfly"

ICYMI: Kylie Jenner has given birth to her first child with rapper Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster.

After plenty of speculation, the name of her daughter has finally been released — Stormi Webster, which she made the big reveal on Instagram, in the caption accompanying a sweet photo of the baby gripping her thumb.

Initially, fans believed that the child’s name could be Butterfly as the E! star wore a butterfly necklace and had butterfly stickers on the wall in the nursery during her 11-minute baby reveal video. Others suggested it could be Mariposa, which is Spanish for butterfly, or the shortened Posie.

With some fans predicting that Kylie will name her firstborn Stormi back in December, the name certainly fits with the rest of the family’s unconventional choices. Kim Kardashian’s children are called North, Saint and Chicago, while Kourtney’s are Mason, Penelope and Reign and their brother Rob’s daughter is called Dream.

No words needed. Big sis Kim Kardashian, 37, tweeted a simple storm cloud emoji after the baby name announcement.

Meanwhile, model Stormi Bree didn’t seem too impressed with the name, sharing a stoic black-and-white photo to her Instagram account with the caption, “Current mood.”

Some users weren’t too ecstatic about the child’s name and took to Twitter to share their dismay.

One user had a little more fun with the name, joking, “Kylie Jenner’s baby name with Kim’s baby names sound like a damn weather forecast. Stormi North Chicago.”
