Wait a minute .. My Chemical Romance split in 2013 after frontman Gerard Way confessing that the band wanted to break up years prior, saying, “By the end of The Black Parade I had in fact said everything I wanted to say.” And while the band’s YouTube channel has been on hiatus for over a year, it just sprung to life with eight new videos.
The videos comprise a series of outtake videos including footage of “Welcome To The Black Parade” and “Helena”, as well as their 2008 concert film The Black Parade Is Dead, which was recorded in Mexico City in 2007, marking the band’s last performance as The Black Parade.
The question is.. WHAT IS GOING ON?! Emo kids of the ’90s are freaking out on social media, naturally. But while we find out, we’re going to slowly savour these videos, which are gold, obviously. Long live MCR!
