Indulge Your Sweet Tooth With Miru Dessert Café’s Latest Delectable Offerings

If desserts could make life a little sweeter, why the hell would you say no? That’s exactly Miru Dessert Café’s main motto, and the now popularly frequented café which is fronted by an adorable honey gnome has been putting smiles on people’s faces by serving up its delectable desserts since 2015.

While its signature desserts including the Shibuya Honey Toast and Kakigori shaved ice have always remained as bestsellers, Miru Dessert Café recently gave its menu a little revamp by incorporating brand new offerings such as Japanese pancakes and puddings, all made from carefully selected premium ingredients of course.

Green Tea Matcha Latte

Any minute is a minute too late for us foodies and we looked no further one fine evening to sample the latest additions at Miru, on top of revisiting some of its bestselling crowd favourites. We may or may not have had to avoid desserts for a bit after our feast of sweet indulgence, but our visit was no less than pleasurable.

Strawberry Cream Pancakes (RM17.90) – If you think American pancakes are good, wait till you’ve tried Japanese-style pancakes that are far more superior. Miru’s version are just that much lighter, fluffier and enjoyably spongey with every bite.

Custard Pudding (RM13.90) – Creamy, silky smooth and ultra fragrant, Miru’s custard pudding comes in various flavours including Strawberry and Caramel. Be warned – it’s very rich and we reckon it’s great for sharing!

Chocolate Banana Waffle (RM20.90) – We’ll always have a weakness for a good ol’ waffle and luckily, this one did not disappoint as it is crispy on the outside and light on the inside.

Shibuya Honey Toast (RM18.90) – Nothing screams sinful like the Shibuya Honey Toast that’s excessively buttery and topped with honey and ice cream, making it the perfect union between sweet and savoury flavours.

Two-Tone Kakigori/Horlicks and Milo (RM25.90) – If you’re fickle and can’t decide between two toppings, that’s where Miru’s two-tone Kakigori comes in. Be sure to dig into this milky mess for a surprise centre!

Miru Dessert Café is located at Lot 6.35.00 in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Damansara Uptown at 62, Jalan SS 21/58, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. For more updates, access www.mirudessertcafe.com or follow Miru Dessert Café on Facebook and Instagram.
