Bernard Chandran unveiled his dreamy Bridal Collection that tells a gorgeous story of inspiration, design and innovation with each and every piece – and we’re losing our minds (and sleep) over possibly getting to wear one of these gowns someday!
Inspired by the different personas of the modern woman, Chandran sets the runway for three very distinctive ‘women’ walking down the aisle – the Fairy-tale Bride, the Vintage Bride and the Contemporary Bride.
Bernard Chandran views wedding as something very personal and understands the many opinions surrounding the idea of the perfect gown. “I take on the challenge and push the envelope of what an ideal gown for my customers,” said Chandran.
From dreamy fairytale to vintage, luxury to sophisticated, and classic chic, the gowns are curated with extreme detailing; from textures to extravagant train lengths that are magnificent and majestic. The gowns shimmered alluringly in pearl, crystal embellishments and silver beads.
Look out for the handcrafted train; outlined with full-on embellishments that tells a story of two families uniting together, a runaway bride that decided to carve her own path and a ‘boho’ chic bride who is always ready to rock-and-roll.
The collection’s colour palette is also full of surprises with whites, off whites, champagne gold, and non-conventional colours like red, blue and even black.
