Rain and Kim Tae-hee are officially parents!
The K-pop singer shared the happy news of the birth of his and wife Kim Tae-hee‘s daughter on Instagram earlier today. He posted a picture of dainty floral baby socks with a caption written in the baby’s voice: “Thank you. I am a pretty princess. I will grow into a child who helps the world. #blessed.”

Rain debuted as a pop-singer in 2012 and was named as one of the “100 Most Influential People” by US Time magazine in 2006 and 2011. Rain is also set to appear on KBS 2TV’s upcoming music audition show The Unit as an emcee. Kim on the other hand, is best known for her roles in popular Korean dramas, such as Stairway to Heaven, Iris, My Princess and Yong-pal.
The fiercely private couple first met on the set for a TV commercial shoot in 2011 and started dating in 2012. After dating for 5 years, Rain, 35, and Kim, 37, tied the knot in January in an intimate ceremony in Seoul. Congratulations, you two! <3
