With that said, Alessia Cara (yes, the singer-songwriter Alessia Cara!) had just dismissed all the hate in a heartwarming and encouraging Direct Message on Instagram, after the Canadian “Scars To Your Beautiful” singer noticed some of the unnecessary negative comments Airliftz was getting.

She writes, “hi. u don’t know me but my name is alessia and I just wanted to tell u that I happened to see the picture u posted with the mean comment on ur instagram (It was posted on twitter) and I was absolutely disgusted at what that person said to u. I couldn’t help but feel the urge to message u and tell u that there absolutely nothing wrong with u or ur appearance, even if it may not be the ‘traditional’ way of looking. ur extremely inspiring…”
