It’s undisputed – most Malaysians are foodies by nature; and hey, with all the heavenly options available literally everywhere, you can’t really blame us, can you? The problem is that more often than not, we get too lazy to travel for our food.. but now, we have UberEATS to come to the rescue.
Already available in over 100 cities worldwide, UberEATS will finally be made available in Malaysia beginning 21 September 2017 and with just a touch of a button, you can now have access to endless culinary experiences with a myriad of dining options delivered to you without any hassle.
The UberEATS app presently showcases over 200 restaurant partners such as Inside Scoop, Sitka and Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa, and the service is currently offered to anyone in the Kuala Lumpur central business district, as well as the Bangsar and Damansara Heights area, with future plans to expand.
Orders on UberEATS can be made from 9am to midnight, seven days a week with payments to be made through credit or debit cards, and all deliveries carry an initial wait time of 35 minutes. The best part about the service is that there is no minimum order, and each delivery only costs RM5.
Evidently, the issue of halal and non-halal foods is of utmost importance to Malaysians, and UberEATS has even worked closely with JAKIM to ensure that the halal requirements are complied with thoroughly, so much so that the halal and non-halal foods are delivered in two separate carriers individually.
Here’s how it works – Download the UberEATS app on your Android or iOS devices or head on over to ubereats.com. Add your address, then browse through local restaurants nearby your current location to choose something you like. Take your pick and check out with a tap. Finally, track your order and be patient while your food arrives at your doorstep!
PS: Download the UberEATS app and enter the promo code “KLTASTY” to enjoy free delivery on your first three UberEATS orders*! 😉
