Our eyelashes have a life span of about three months before falling off naturally, only to be replaced by a new growth. With the use of eyelash enhancing serums, you can probably lengthen that time frame for a little while longer. But, can someone tell us what this woman has done to maintain having the longest eyelashes ever?
A Chinese woman named You Jianxia was recently included in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest eyelashes in the world, measuring at 4.88 inches. The lashes are so long that they literally just drape over her face. We’re baffled as to how she doesn’t feel uncomfortable..
She first noticed that her eyelashes were growing out tremendously well in 2013 during an 18-month long nature retreat, and get this – she credits her long lashes to her special relationship with nature, which is supposedly helping the hairs grow super long.
Was it the fresh, magical water found during her retreat? Or a ton of meditation? We’ll never know, but what we do know is that no amount of eyelash enhancing potions will be able to deliver results such as these.
