New York City wears many hats. The metropolis isn’t only an epicenter of art; it also showcases some of the world’s best cuisines, a dizzying plethora of shopping destinations, trendsetting street style, architectural eye candy, the most diverse people, and unimaginable entertainment that turns the city into a grand stage by night.
The exuberant energy and thrilling creativity of New York City never ever dwindles, and Swedish high street fashion powerhouse H&M has taken cue, fusing this vigor into its H&M Studio Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2017 whereby femininity meets strong, structural elements for urban refinement.
As H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director Pernilla Wohlfahrt puts it, “This collection is all about tailoring, enhancing the female silhouette. While there are ultra feminine details, we’ve combined them with street or punk influences for a hard-edged yet sophisticated result.”
Bold graffiti prints are fused with menswear checks, while masculine tailoring is merged with feminine silhouettes for a charming collection showcasing an amalgamation of fabrics through defined outerwear, delicate dresses, versatile separates, delightful knits and more, complementing the needs of a modern woman who isn’t afraid to be fearless.
H&M Studio’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection will be hitting H&M Lot 10 from September 2017.
