Third time’s a charm! It’s official: Gigi Hadid will be walking the runway at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year. And after much speculation, the lingerie giant today revealed that the dream team will be travelling to China’s biggest metropolis, Shanghai for its annual runway extravaganza.
Last week after models were spotted heading to the casting call in New York City for this year’s VS Fashion Show, a slew of newbies and returning favourites later revealed they made the cut, and the Internet started buzzing. Why? Because a few major names were missing from the list, including Gigi, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, who were all present at last year’s show.
But wait — Yesterday, Gigi Hadid silenced all annoying speculations when she announced on Instagram that she would return to the fantastic runway once again. She captioned her post, “Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show !!! 🙌🏼”
Last weekend, her sister Bella also took to Instagram to break the news, writing: “@victoriassecret I am so excited!..!!!!”

Hmm.. while the Hadids are set for Shanghai, is it so far unknown whether good friend Kendall Jenner will be making the trip too this year.
