It has been confirmed — popular actress Elfira Loy who rose to fame in Disney’s Waktu Rehat and Astro’s Oh My English, is set to get married with industry newcomer Sufian Suhaimi this October.
The 25-year-old singer said the exact wedding date had not been fixed. “For now I can’t speak much about it because it is still two months away. What’s important is to hope that everything goes smoothly according to plan,” he remarked.
“It is not wrong to marry at a young age but most important is to get parental blessings.” Sufian revealed that he is more than ready to perform his duties as the head of the family, “Like me, Elfira is also prepared to be a wife. People say marriage is not easy, so we’ll keep praying for the best.”
This news does not come as a surprise, as the pair has been flaunting their love for each other on social media. In fact, the 23-year-old actress even surprised her lover with a helicopter joyride at Shorea, Seremban on his birthday last May. The surprise party was attended by 20 close friends and family.
Meanwhile, for her 23rd birthday last March, Sufian surprised Elfira Loy with 23 roses which definitely made her heart melt — but broke his ex-girlfriend’s at the same time. The new singer has reportedly left his college girlfriend for the pretty actress.
Bahiyah Khiruddin, a close friend of Sufian’s ex-girlfriend Izyan Ar, ranted on Twitter how he has never done anything that sweet to his former flame, even when she has supported his music career since day one. Whether the claims are true or not, we sure hope everyone’s okay now.
