China’s largest online retailer, Alibaba has recently unveiled Tmall World, a new online shopping platform for China’s merchandise that targets he sizeable 500 million population from South-East Asia.
Fortunately for us, Tmall World has launched an offline store featuring various home appliances & furnishing for public’s view in Sunway Giza in conjunction with the Mid-year Mega Sale campaign, so you don’t have to worry about receiving shady items when that parcel arrives.
The offline store, open to the public from 16th – 18th June, offers discounts from more than 180,000 global brands across different product categories such as apparel, home and living, consumer electronics, and mother and baby. Malaysian consumers are able to take advantage of the growing demand for large item purchases with the introduction of a new sea freight option, applicable to the “Taobao Global Consolidated Shipping” option.
This delivery alternative offers Malaysians a lower courier fee ranging from RM6 per kilogram excluding the 6% GST charges. This offer is applicable for individual consignments of up to 100 kilograms each or consolidated consignments of up to 200 kilograms each.
