This Ramadan, Uber wants to reconnect you with the people you haven’t spoken with in a while through its #RideToReconnect initiative.
This month-long marketing campaign will feature in-app reminders to encourage riders to reconnect with those they haven’t spoken to in a while, on-ride displays to help riders call and reconnect with their friends and family members and in-app Fajr and Maghrib timings to remind riders about their religious obligations during Ramadan.
On top of that, Uber is giving away 5 free rides worth RM8 from 6am to 6pm daily. So for our Muslim friends who want to break fast with their friends, family, or colleagues, Uber has got you covered.
Users can also participate in a “Yusuf Taiyoob’s Whisper Challenge” where users get to win RM1000 worth of Uber credits. All you have to do is show them your creative rendition of the famous Yusuf Taiyoob whisper, upload your video on your Instagram profile, tag @uber_my as well as the hashtag #UberYuTa.
